The Rs 250 crore movie was released across a record 6,500 screens countrywide in its Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam versions. The movie yielded profits for the producers even before its release.
The film’s cast includes Prabhas, Rana Daggubatti, Ramya Krishnan, Nasser, Anushka and Tamannaah. The movie was released worldwide on April 28, 2017. A sequel to the 2015 film Bahubali: The Beginning, the movie was one of the most expected Indian films of the year. According to a report on, the film grossed Rs 441 crore nett (approximately) in first five days of its release becoming the highest grossing film ever leading the gross figure of 'Baahubali 2' to Rs 565 crore (approximately). Rajamouli's epic historical drama - Baahubali 2: The Conclusion - has raised the bar of the cinematic approach of Indian film industry shattering major box office records including the ones overseas.
